How to fill a PDF form
- 1
Open the form
Drop in a fillable PDF. Its fields are read locally — nothing is uploaded.
- 2
Enter your details
Type into the detected form fields, tick checkboxes and pick options.
- 3
Download the filled form
Save your completed PDF, optionally flattening fields so they can't be edited.
Complete forms without handing over your data
PDF forms often ask for exactly the information you'd least like to upload — names, addresses, ID numbers, signatures. pdfnoupload reads the form fields with pdf-lib directly in your browser, so you can fill in sensitive personal details and the data stays on your device. The completed form is generated locally and downloaded only to you.
Flatten to lock in your answers
Once filled, you can optionally flatten the form so the values become a permanent part of the page and can't be changed by the recipient. Whether flattened or left editable, the file never leaves your machine, carries no watermark, and the tool works offline after the first load.
Frequently asked questions
Is my form data uploaded?+
No. The form is filled in your browser and the data never leaves your device — verify with DevTools → Network.
What if my PDF has no form fields?+
This tool needs an interactive (AcroForm) PDF. If no fields are detected, the document isn't a fillable form.
What does 'flatten' do?+
Flattening bakes your entered values into the page so they display everywhere and can no longer be edited.
