Most online PDF tools upload your documents to a server to process them. We don't — and we can't. Every operation runs locally in your browser using WebAssembly, so your sensitive contracts, IDs and financial documents stay on your machine.
Works offline after the first visit
Once loaded, pdfnoupload keeps working with no internet connection. The app is a Progressive Web App that caches itself, so you can merge or redact a PDF on a plane, in a SCIF, or anywhere you don't trust the network.
Verifiable privacy, not just a promise
Open your browser's DevTools, switch to the Network tab, and process a file. You'll see zero upload requests. Privacy you can confirm with your own eyes beats a privacy policy you have to take on faith.

No. Your files are never uploaded — every PDF is processed entirely in your browser on your own device. There is no upload endpoint, and you can confirm it yourself: open DevTools, watch the Network tab, and you'll see zero upload requests.

Yes. After the first page load, pdfnoupload works fully offline — you can merge, split, compress, or redact a PDF with no internet connection. The one exception is OCR, which downloads its recognition engine once on first use and then works offline too.
